Conclusion
The protone skumstortion might beat the hell out of your amp’s distortion channel, but in guitar pedal market, it is perhaps best described as a solid choice. Set the drive and tone two-third and you get a really brittle, bitting attack that’s totally satisfying for old skol metal, giving good note articulation and enough low end to shake the ground. The most roadworthy because of the handmade US chassis is built like a tank.and certainly the least fussy. A great choice for the rockers that likes high gain sound. So just crank it up and be blown away.
