About Blister

-BLISTER is a Hard Rock/Rock n' Roll/Blues band made up of family members. -They are :- Ramon "Solo" Singho - Lead Guitars. Mario "Mangz" Singho - Vocals/Rhythm Guitars/Blues Harp. Julio "Jubz" Singho - Bass/Backing Vocals. Darian "Captain" Henry - Vocals/Rhythm Guitars/Blues Harp. Zachary 'Zack Attack' De'Costa - Drums/Percussion. -Formed on Christmas 2000, when first began jamming on an impulse. Began playing professionally in 2005 after participating and being placed in the Top 10 in a nationwide battle of the bands competition called Blast Off. -BLISTER is in the process of recording its debut album which consist of originals written and composed by band members themselves. -BLISTER recently released their latest single I'M NOT YOUR SLAVE on national radio. -The music style of BLISTER is a fusion of punk rock, blues rock, heavy metal and hard rock. -The band is massively inspired by bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, Deep Purple, The Sex Pistoles, The Ramones, Aerosmith, ACDC, Queen, Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, The Darkness, RATM, Foo Fighters, Avenged Sevenfold and many others. -BLISTER is also heavily influenced by ol' skool rock n' roll and blues music by artistes such as Elvis Presley, BB King, Eric Clapton, Robert Johnson, Howling Wolf and many others. -BLISTER spots that one of their highest achievements so far is when they performed for one of their idols, alongside Amy Search as one of the opening acts for the SLASH Live In KL concert which was held in Sunway Surf Beach in August 2010. -BLISTER also won the award for Best Rock Act in the Vima 2011-2012 Awards which was held on February 2012, competing with bands from all across the region. -Below are some of the shows/events that BLISTER has performed for :- -Malacca Portuguese Eurasian Association Annual Dinners. -Portuguese Festivals. -American Embassy annual dinner. -Manipal Doctors Alumni night. -Blast Off 2005. -Levis 501 Jeans launch at Zouk K.L. -Hitz.TV Birthday Bash at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach. -A.I.D JAM 2010 at Sunway University College. -JAMFEST Kuala Lumpur at Backyard Pub, KL. *BLISTER was also the ambassadors for JAMFEST 2010. -Stereopath Events at Laundry Bar, KL. -In Transit at Cloth n Cleft, KL. -GSC Cinemas Indian Jones movie premier concert at Sunway Pyramid. -STYLO Fashion Week KL concert. -NewMan Magazine 7th anniversary celebration at EuroStar, Sunway Pyramid. -Woodstock/Psychedelic Birthday celebration at Backyard Pub, KL. -IndiePendence Day Rock Jam in Celcius, KL. -My Lingam Speaks stand up comedy show at KLPAC (Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre). -The Talent Experiment at Ovo, KL -Unilever Rock n' Roll Bash, Hard Rock Hotel Penang. -Various other private functions, such as corporate dinners, weddings, birthdays, etc. -Opening act for SLASH LIVE IN KL at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach on the 5th of August 2010. -On this coming 14th of April, Blister will showcase their music at Hard Rock Hotel/ Cafe Penang. -BLISTER's aim in their music is to take the influences of old and make it new again.
